BHS Staff at Broughton Took NSPCC to the Races

Thanks to the generosity of the management of Chester Racecourse, the staff at the BHS store on Broughton Shopping Park were able to make a tidy addition over the bank holiday weekend to their fund raising total for their adopted charity, NSPCC.

When Jill Barker, who coordinated the fundraising, learned last week that they would be receiving a couple of free tickets for Ladies Day at the famous meeting, she and her colleagues immediately leapt into action with the tickets as the main prize in a raffle.

“We were able to raise £250 for this good cause, and are very grateful to Chester racecourse marketing and communications manager, Rob March, for making it possible,” said Jill.

The raffle winners were Carole Bird and Glynnis Jones from Chester and Mr and Mrs Moore from Rhyl.
