Sky Is The Limit For Charity Balloon Race 

Hawarden & District Rotary Club will be holding a Balloon Race on Bank Holiday Monday, May 5 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care and other local worthy causes. The balloons will be released at 3pm on the day at Broughton Shopping Park by Colin Gilligan, Manager of the Park.

The cost of purchasing a balloon will be £1, and tickets will go on sale outside Costa Coffee at Broughton Shopping Park Shop on the weekends of 26th/27th April and the 3rd/4th/5th May.

The person whose balloon travels the furthest distance will receive a cheque for £100 . All finders of balloon tickets are asked to post back the ticket by the 5th June 2008 and there will also be a prize for the finder of the balloon ticket that travels the furthest distance.
