Broughton Juniors on parade in their new kit
A new kit and a new coach are certainly having a positive effect on the Broughton Junior School football squad.
The team have made an outstanding start to its campaign in the Flintshire Primary School League, notching up 2 high scoring wins in a row.
Leading from the front is coach John Roberts from Holywell, in his second year as a teacher at the school.
The kit was donated by nearby Broughton Shopping Park, who has also provided a kit for the school’s netball team. The Park’s manager, Colin Gilligan, said: “As someone whose children all went to Broughton Junior School it gave us great pleasure to be able to support the sports teams with smart new kit. I am particularly pleased that it is having such a good effect on their performance.”
